Samantha Dunn (Soprano 1)

Samantha’s passion for making music began at the young age of 7, singing and recording songs with her father at their home studio. She began classical vocal training at age 14, and has been fortunate to travel the globe as a professional actress and singer for most of her adult life. 

In addition to performing with the Swing Dolls, Samantha has enjoyed starring in shows such as “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” as the Narrator, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” as Sally Brown, “Urinetown” as Hope Cladwell, “The Drowsy Chaperone” as Janet Van De Graff and The Who’s “Tommy” as Sally Simpson. Other musical theatre credits have included the national tour of “Love Sweet Love: A Burt Bacharach Musical” and a staged reading of “The Fix” with the Musical Theatre Guild at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. Samantha has also had the pleasure of reprising the leading role of Cindy in “Suds: The Rocking 60’s Musical Soap Opera” at three different theatres up and down the West Coast, and was nominated for “Outstanding Lead Performer” in a professional Variety Show/Revue in 2013. 

For almost a decade, Samantha has worked as a professional Christmas Caroler and member of The Good Time Carolers in Los Angeles, CA. She has starred as a holiday singer in national commercials for TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Dunkin Donuts. Samantha also spent two holiday seasons singing first soprano in an acapella quartet known as the Main Street Carolers at Hong Kong Disneyland where she had the pleasure of entertaining thousands in the grand Christmas Tree Lighting Show on Main Street U.S.A!

Samantha is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood, CA and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from The New School University in New York. Originally born in the north of Wales in the United Kingdom, Samantha now resides in Los Angeles, CA.
