Andrea Lee Davis (2nd Soprano)

Andrea has enjoyed a colorful career as actress, singer, dancer, pianist, vocal arranger, and Italian teacher and translator. She has appeared in numerous commercials and films, including the upcoming feature,“A Doggone Hollywood”, and the recent indie hit, “No Ordinary Hero: The Superdeafy Movie”, starring Marlee Matlin.

Andrea created many of The Swing Dolls’ vocal arrangements. She is the Italian Lyricist and Vocal Arranger for The Swing Dolls’ original song, “La Vita italiana fa per me (The Italian Life’s For Me)”, which was featured in the Fiat 500L commercial, “Wedding”.

On stage, she toured the U.S. as Keri in “The Christmas Box,” and in “Camelot” with David Birney and Dale Kristien. Her regional roles include leads in the World Premiere of Ovation Award-winning playwright Damon Chua's “The Ghost Building” with Company of Angels, the West Coast Premiere of “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” L.A. Times Critic's Choice “Flood Tide at Rio Magdalena,” and countless productions as a member of Vox Humana Theatre Company. Her television appearances run the gamut from appearing as Special Musical Guest on "Gilmore Girls" with The Swing Dolls, to speaking Italian on "The Bold and the Beautiful" and dialect coaching for the show, to flirting her way to a trip to Aruba on "The Dating Game."

Andrea spent two years as Associate Conductor, Soloist, and Pianist for the Millennium Choir, with which she performed twice at the Vatican in Rome and throughout Italy and Southern California. As a teacher of Italian, she has been on the faculty of UCLA, Cal State Long Beach, and Pierce College. 

A native of Rhode Island, Andrea has an MA in Italian Literature from UCLA, a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Diploma with Honors in Piano Performance from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge.
